Welcome to My Korean Exchange Blog

Greetings family, friends, and friends to be, my name is Matti Chong, welcome to my blog! I'm so excited to be sharing my adventures with you through this blog. For those who don't already know, here's a little bit of info to get you started. 

This past year (2022) I successfully interviewed/applied to become a rotary exchange student of District 6290, and I've been preparing ever since. As an exchange student, I had to list the countries I was most interested in going to, then after waiting for sometime I was informed of where I'd be going for the next year. So, at the end of August, I'll be boarding a plane from Toronto's Pearson airport on a direct flight to Incheon International airport in South Korea. I'll meet my host family at the airport and they'll drive us home to Yeoju city which is where my year of adventure will finally begin. 😌😎

I'll try my best to keep you guys informed, to the best of my ability, on everything that happens while I'm in Korea and I look forward to doing so.

That's all the info for now, my next post will likely be sometime in September so stay tuned and again, welcome to my blog on my life as an Rotary exchange student in South Korea, I'm so glad to have you all here with me on this journey of a lifetime.
